During first ice, we recommend a short piece of PVC to keep the pole as compact and lightweight as possible. As the ice gets thicker over the season, swap out our PVC pole for a longer one based on ice thickness.
Please note that the PVC pipe is NOT included, as it can be sourced locally for cheap, and saves on shipping costs.
All hardware needed is galvanized or stainless, so rust will never be an issue. This item is 3D printed out of PETG material which is ideal for outdoor use. Small layer lines and minor cosmetic imperfections are to be expected.
