Garmin's new line of transducers have hit the market, and users have quickly found that without the Garmin Spy Pole, they cannot stow their trolling motor while their LVS44 is in perspective mode. The transducer hits the edge of the trolling motor and excessive strain is placed on the transducer mounts, which will quickly lead to irreversible damage of the transducer, motor, and mounts.
Thankfully, we have you covered! Our extension mount for the Livescope2 brings your transducer a safe distance from the trolling motor, allowing you to keep your transducer in perspective mode all day, without adjusting it every time you want to stow your motor. This also has added benefits such as lower electrical interference from the trolling motor, since it is further away.
Worried about the strength of this mount? Have no fear, as this has been intentionally designed with the large 8M bolt through the entire product. This means that there is essentially zero strain on the extension mount itself, and will withstand the abuse of serious anglers. It is also worth noting that the groove pattern is different on the extension compared to what is on the transducer. This is intentional as the grooves still line up 2:1, which allows the part to have additional strength as opposed to the smaller intricate grooves.
This item is 3D Printed out of PETG material. Layer lines and minor cosmetic imperfections are to be expected. This includes occasional, minor black spots in yellow lettering on some parts. Extension has not been tested with the LVS42HD.
